This article summarizes VA patient enrollment in state Medicaid
programs and their use of Medicaid and Medicare services. The article
gives researchers guidance as to which kinds of studies could benefit
from including Medicaid data, either because many of the veterans in
their research might use Medicaid or because veterans who use both
Medicaid and VA may have greater healthcare needs than those who use VA
only. Ann Hendricks, PhD, et al. |
