Cable television network MTV recently dedicated an episode of its
True Life documentary series to teenagers with albinism. "True
Life: I'm an Albino" followed Jennie, Zane, and Zach as they
attend high school and interact with their friends and families. Camera
crews also filmed two of the show's subjects as they attended the
2010 National Organization for Albinism and Hypopigmentation (NOAH)
National Conference in Washington, DC. Jennie summed up her experience
participating in the show: "People rarely understand what albinism
is about.... When people see the episode they'll see that it
doesn't matter if you're different; you can do whatever you
