Full Text: In November, 2001, the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada (SOGC) launched an ambitious new website,, designed to provide "highly credible information on contraception, safer sex practices and sexual well-being" to diverse audiences. Separate sections of the site for teens, adults, parents/teachers, and health professionals address issues pertinent to these audiences within an overall framework that seeks to "give people the skills and tools to manage the real situations they encounter in their sexual lives" and/or to assist them in their roles as parents, educators, or health professionals. Input from a variety of professional and community organizations and from the public will be used for ongoing revisions and additions to the site. Feedback is welcome.
