The Nursing Council has suspended the practising certificate of
Rosylin Radha Singh under section 69 (1)(a)(ii) of the Health
Practitioners Competence Assurance (HPCA) Act 2003, on the grounds that
Singh is alleged to have engaged in conduct that casts doubt on the
appropriateness of her conduct in her professional capacity. The alleged conduct that is the subject of a Professional Conduct Committee (PCC) investigation is that Singh practised while suspended from practice, following her suspension imposed by the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal [see Kai Tiaki Nursing New Zealand, November 2011, p42] and altered an annual practising certificate (APC) to allow her to practise while suspended. Singh's APC is suspended until such time as the Council is satisfied that appropriateness of her conduct is no longer in doubt or that Singh will not be charged as a result of the PCC's investigation. This notice is published under section 157(1)(a) to (c) of the HPCA Act. Carolyn Reed Registrar |
