Full Text: THESE PHOTOS ARE PART OF AN EXHIBITION BY PHOTOGRAPHER TANJA BAUSE, CALLED 'LIFE'. IT CONSISTS OF A SELECTION OF 39 PHOTOGRAPHS WHICH TANJA HAS TAKEN OVER THE PAST SEVEN YEARS. THE PHOTOGRAPHS SHOW CHILDREN IN VARIOUS SETTINGS, MOSTLY PLAYING AND ENJOYING LIFE. TANJA SAYS, IT WAS CALLED 'LIFE', AS LIFE STARTS WITH CHILDREN, WHO ARE STILL UNCOMPLICATED AND ABLE TO ENJOY LIFE TO THE FULLEST, REGARDLESS OF THEIR POOR CIRCUMSTANCES.

TANJA HAS BEEN TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS SINCE THE AGE OF 12, WHEN SHE RECEIVED HER FIRST CAMERA FROM HER DAD. SHE WORKED IN A PHOTO STUDIO FOR EIGHT YEARS AND HAS BEEN A PHOTO JOURNALIST FOR VARIOUS NEWSPAPERS FOR THE PAST FIFTEEN YEARS. 'LIFE' IS HER FIRST EXHIBITION.
