Linda Hamunyela, aged 25, is a 3rd year Fashion and Design student
at the Katutura Community Art Center (KCAC), Windhoek, majoring in
garment, bags and jewellery design. Ranked at the top of her class, her
garments have been displayed in various exhibitions and fashion shows,
and she was recently chosen to partake in a student exchange program in
Growing up with a mom who is a tailor, Linda explains that her passion for fashion and textiles began at a young age, when she made her own clothes and outfits for her dolls as she was growing up.
Linda draws her inspiration from nature, and her future aspiration is to open a clothing boutique in Angola.
