[ILLUSTRATION OMITTED] President Claudia G. Pohl, CDA, RDA, FADAA, BVEd, Alta Loma, Calif. Ms. Pohl, a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant for 36 years, has been active with the ADAA on the state level for thirty years and the national level for several years. Serving on various committees and as President of the California Dental Assistants Association, followed by serving as 12th District Trustee representing dental assistants in California, Nevada and Hawaii, she was then national Secretary and Vice-President. A graduate of California State San Bernardino with a degree in Vocational Education, she is RDA Program Director at Citrus College in Glendora, where she has been employed since 1999. She is married to Michael Pohl, is the mother of Adam, Allison and Erin, and grandmother of Lorelai Pohl. [ILLUSTRATION OMITTED] President-Elect Carolyn Breen, CDA, RDA, RDH, FAD, Rahway, N.J. Dr. Breen is Department Chair of Allied Dental Education at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Health Related Professions. She was a consultant to the Dental Radiology Board of Examination and Licensing of the Environmental Protection Agency of New Jersey, a member of the New Jersey Oral Health Coalition, member of the American Dental Association Council on Dental Practice Dental Assisting Review Committee, and participated on the Council on Education and the Legislative Council of the American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA). Dr. Breen has been active in the New Jersey Dental Assistants Association and participates on the editorial boards of two professional journals. She also acts as a consultant for dental hygiene and dental assisting education programs for the American Dental Association (ADA) Commission on Dental Accreditation, (CODA). Vice President Lori Paschall, CDA, FADAA, Irmo, S.C. As Vice President, Ms. Paschall will serve on the board of trustees and assist the president in administrative and ceremonial capacities throughout the year. Ms. Paschall is Territory Manager for Atlanta Dental Supply, Duluth, Ga., and has been a dental assisting professional for over 25 years. She is president of the South Carolina Dental Assistants Association and past president of the Columbia Dental Assistants Society. She currently serves on the ADAA Vision Council, is a director of the ADAA Foundation and a planning team member of the South Carolina Dental Association's Dental Access Days. Ms. Paschall attended Seminole Community College in Sanford, Florida and Southern College in Orlando, Florida. She is married to Don Paschall and the mother of Robyn and Jennifer. [ILLUSTRATION OMITTED] Secretary Bonnie L. Marshall, CDA, EFDA, EFODA, MADAA Battleground, Wash. Ms. Marshall is an instructor and coordinator in the dental assisting program at Portland Community College. She serves as a consultant for the ADA Commission on accreditation, works for the Western Regional Testing Agency and serves on the DANB Radiology test construction committee. She has held many positions with the Oregon Dental Association, including that of president, and is currently serving as secretary. Ms. Marshall completed two terms as Tenth District Trustee ending in 2009. In 2007 she was the recipient of the Sunstar Americas Award of Excellence for educators. As Secretary, Ms. Marshall will be responsible for the on-going records of all ADAA's national business meetings. On a personal note, she is the mother of three children and ten grandchildren.
