Full Text: In the paper by Rosen et al. (Europ Archs Paediatr Dent 2010;11:187-191) published in the August issue of European Archives of Paediatric Dentistry some computer transcription errors occurred involving scientific symbols. The changes needed are: Abstract: The published sentence was: Lower than 106 total viable counts of bacteria (TVC) were detected in the cardiac group 1.4 x [10.sup.6] [+ or -] 1.2 x [10.sup.7] vs. 2.7 x [10.sup.6] [+ or -] 2.9 x [10.sup.7] in the control group (p<0.05). But this sentence should read: Lower total viable counts of bacteria (TVC) were detected in the cardiac group of 1.4 x [10.sup.6] [+ or -] 1.2 x [10.sup.7] vs. 2.7 x [10.sup.6] [+ or -] 2.9 x [10.sup.7] in the control group (p<0.05).

Other errors are: Page 186, left column, bottom line >6 should be [greater than or equal to] 6. Table 2 headings Line 1, >6 should be [greater than or equal to] 6; line 2, mean [+ or -] SD, should be mean, s.d to correspond with the expression in line 1; Row 1. Column 3, < should be moved to the line below, >6 should be [greater than or equal to] 6. We apologize for these errors and ask that readers amend their copies of the journal.
