Full Text: An article in the December 2007 issue of Professional School Counseling, "Joining the Conversation about Educating Our Poorest Children: Emerging Leadership Roles for School Counselors in High-Poverty Schools," should have contained the following reference: "For example, a review of articles published in the Journal of Counseling and Development over the past decade revealed only nine articles emphasizing issues of social class or poverty. By contrast, there were 90 articles published during that time period that emphasized race, culture, national origin, ethnicity, or multiculturalism. A review of articles published in Professional School Counseling from 1997 to 2005 revealed a similar ratio" (C. Tucker, 2007, "Low-income African-American caregivers' experiences of having a son referred to mental health counseling by the school counselor," unpublished doctoral dissertation, University of Florida, Gainesville).
