Full Text: Even though we have not yet read all of our copy of Freed to Care, Proud to Nurse, we want to record our sincere thanks and congratulations to those involved in the publication of the 100 years' history of the NZNO. Author Mary ELlen O'Connor has done a remarkable job in writing such a comprehensive and readable book, and in capturing comments from so many people.

Speaking for myself, I couldn't keep my nose out of the book for about three days, as I read about the events over the past four decades, and now I have to start at the beginning to refresh my knowledge of the first 60 years. Sue has taken more time in enjoying delving into the book--only one of us can read it at a time!

Our congratulations also to everyone else who was involved, especially project Leader Charlotte Thompson, and, finally, to the publishers Steele Roberts.

You have all done a wonderful job of which you can be very proud.
